Rules of Online Bingo
Familiarity with online bingo rules is a must before one can attempt to play the game. Two kinds of online bingo exist: straight bingo and point bingo. Their rules are similar with some variations. The game is made up of a bingo card of five rows and five columns. Numbers one to seventy five are randomly printed on these cards. The middle section is blank.
The object of the game is to make prearranged number patterns. It could be a row pattern, column pattern or diagonal pattern. The number has to be covered on the bingo card as they are displayed on the screen. A caller or master of the game is designated to call out the numbers in the game.
Each player receives a bingo card and marker for marking numbers. On the other hand, the caller receives a group of check cards and a table for verifying the numbers of the player who completes the pattern. He evaluates the winning numbers and declares the winner. Every card is distinct from the others and each player shares equal odds of winning.
The game commences with the dissemination of cards and marking tools to the players. The materials are then arranged and laid on the table in front of them. The checking cards are mixed very well and kept in front of him by the caller.
When the game begins, each player may keep the marker on the blank area before the start of the game. The caller then chooses a number and puts it on the correct slot in the checking table and then declares it loudly. Attention must be given during this period. If the called number is on the bingo card, they must mark it with the marker. If the called number is not in the bingo card, then the card is termed as "no play."
The game resumes until one player completes any of the patterns mentioned above. He gets a bingo and the caller checks the accuracy of his numbers through comparison with his numbers on the checking table. In case of an error, the player must resign, the numbers and the game will be eliminated from the game. A new round commences and proceeds in the same process. The players get new cards for the new session, and the previous cards returned to the caller. When the caller wishes to play, he will be replaced by another player for one round.
In point bingo, players play for a thousand points. The points are noted by the caller at the bottom of each number corresponding to the name of the players. The winner is the person who reaches the number of points. The points are doubled when the bingo passes through the blank space. A bingo can be scored with two rows which is equivalent to the total of both rows and an extra hundred points.
When a player gets a bingo in the blank section and two rows, he scores double the sum of the two rows and an extra hundred points. When another player gets bingo simultaneously, this combination prevails and is therefore the winner. Other bingo variations can have two players make up one team. Winning a good amount of money and new friends makes online bingo an enjoyable game.
